Breaking cover at the Sea Otter Classic in California, the popular Husqvarna MC4 receives an exclusive Rockstar Edition colourway in limited release.
Highlighting the long-standing relationship with Rockstar Energy, Husqvarna are proud to announce the limited-edition Husqvarna Mountain Cross MC4 Rockstar Edition eMTB at the Sea Otter Classic bike festival in Monterey, California.
With a limited number of units set to be released, the unique colourway mirrors the team livery of its Rockstar Energy Husqvarna Factory Racing supercross siblings and is sure to become highly sought after by eMTB fans.
Inspired by competition and the close crossover connections with mountain biking and offroad racing, the MC4 Rockstar Edition is based on the already proven Husqvarna Mountain Cross MC4 platform.
Featuring the latest in eMTB technology, the Mountain Cross range is our vision of All-Mountain eMTB riding with agile 150mm suspension travel. The MC4 features a uniquely formed, carbon frame that offers an incredibly intuitive and balanced riding experience for both descending and climbing.
Engineered to bring out the best in all riders, the frame design, with upstanding motor position and vent intakes, promotes cooling around the battery and motor. By quickly dissipating heat, it in turn increases efficiency and performance. This becomes even more effective when working hard on steep climbs at low speed with little available airflow.
The MC4 utilises the new Shimano EP801 motor. Lightweight and more intelligent when compared to its EP8 predecessor, the system offers controllable, high-performance power to provide a natural ride feel on the trails. Whether tackling loose terrain or steep mountain ranges, the 85Nm drive unit rapidly and seamlessly self-adjusts so you can fully focus on the trail ahead.
Maximising the bike’s potential, the Core S3+ 720 Wh battery ensures incredible range for a full day of riding on the MC4. Remote trails and backcountry single track are easily reachable. With its charging port now positioned in the central downtube beam of the frame, charging is easy and hassle free. The MC4 features 150mm of suspension travel to confidently master the constantly changing terrain of every mountain trail.
